Porter

Chic Tupperware for the Millennial age

by Patrick Janelle

Tupperware for the Millennial age, Porter is a chic, new line of reusable containers for storing food and beverages on all of your adventures—whether that's a romantic picnic or a subway ride to the office.

Before now, my on-the-go kit was a mismatched set of pieces, which included a few old mason jars and a plastic sippy cup I saved from the concession stand at a Broadway show. Porter takes my ambition to reduce waste and makes it pretty. With colors like blush, mint, and slate, the brand features a handful of dishwasher-safe pieces fit for various uses. The range includes a bowl with a strap-on lid, a drinking glass sheathed in silicone, a twist-cap water bottle, a ceramic mug with a cover, and metal straws in multiple lengths.

The company behind this product line, W&P, was started in 2012 by college buddies Josh Williams and Eric Prum. I met Josh and Eric shortly after the launch of one of their most famous creations, the Carry On Cocktail Kit. Since then, I've seen the duo expand their team and launch myriad products centered around food and beverage—all of which are equally as obsession-worthy as my new, on-the-go mug.
