Coffee Project NY

Pint-sized, quintessential East Village spot for perfectly-prepared coffee.

Since its opening in the East Village in 2015, Coffee Project New York has developed a devoted following along with new outposts in Brooklyn and Queens. The original location is a pint-sized cafe with quintessential downtown vibes: think exposed brick walls and Edison bulbs. The newest location, in Long Island City, houses a training facility—with classes open to the public—which includes an impressive array of espresso machines and appliances for a variety of coffee preparations. Sum Ngai, a co-owner, is a certified Q Grader and oversees the cafe’s well-respected roasting program.
