Third Rail Coffee

Classic neighborhood shop, worn around the edges, with excellent espresso

Though some of the cafe tables might be worn around the edges, Third Rail Coffee is still a quintessential neighborhood hangout. Frequented by locals and NYU grad students, it doesn’t get more Manhattan than this place. The Greenwich village location cleverly makes use of a tiny storefront, cleverly turning a postage stamp-sized space into a viable business. They serve an incredible pour over, in addition to all of its special drinks.
